Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 gets an interesting filming update.

Yellowstone has received an exciting update, with the second installment of season five due to begin filming soon.

The final season of the Paramount+ series began in November 2022, with the first eight episodes airing until January 2023.

The final six episodes have been stalled since the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, however there has been an update.

According to Deadline, filming on the final episodes will begin in the spring of 2024, with the last chapters expected to debut in November of that year.

The publication also stated that 2024, an intended modern-day spin-off, has yet to begin production.

While the news is good for fans, it should be noted that former lead performer Kevin Costner is unlikely to reprise his role as John Dutton,

having left the show earlier this year owing to schedule difficulties with Horizon. "My last conversation with Kevin was that he had this passion project he wanted to direct,"

Taylor Sheridan, co-creator, said of the scheduling challenges. "He and the network were arguing about when he'd be finished with Yellowstone."
