New England Patriots release Brady's first press interview following selection.

It's already legendary that Tom Brady joined the New England Patriots as the 199th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft.

The young man in the now-famous picture, who is slender, went on to become the greatest player in NFL history.

He even outranked other renowned sporting legends like LeBron James or Michael Jordan with 7 rings on his fingers.

The New England Patriots will celebrate Brady forever since he has earned more rings than any other NFL club in history.

But only a select handful were aware of the inside information immediately following the draft; the Massachusetts squad possessed a tape of Brady's first news conference following the draft.

Tom Brady wasn't bothered at all by the fact that he was selected with the 199th overall choice in the draft.

Instead, he told the media that all he wanted was a chance to compete in the league.

Additionally, he praised quarterback Drew Bledsoe while reiterating that he was still vying for the QB1 position.
