'John Wick' Franchise Exceeds $1 Billion Worldwide

"John Wick" is become a multibillion-dollar franchise. Lionsgate's Keanu Reeves-led action series has reached $1 billion in worldwide box office revenues, totaling $1.011 billion over four films.

but it became a sleeper hit in home entertainment, while the 2017 sequel grossed $174.3 million. "Parabellum,"

the highest-grossing film previous to "Chapter 4," grossed $328.3 million worldwide in 2019. "This milestone is a testament to the incredible work of Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves,

alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, who have made it their mission to outdo themselves with each successive film in this franchise,

Joe Drake, chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, said. "We couldn't be more grateful to global moviegoers for introducing us to this incredible opportunity."
