Colorado's Travis Hunter possibly out 'a few weeks' after going to hospital after dirty hit vs. Colorado State

The rivalry between Colorado and Colorado State has been as heated as promised,

but when Buffaloes star Travis Hunter was hit dirty late in the first quarter on Saturday, it reached a new height

The hit occurred during the first quarter of Colorado's eventual 43-35 victory after Shedeur Sanders,

the team's quarterback, threw an incomplete pass to Hunter, who was well-covered.

Hunter appeared to have failed to bring the ball down at the end of the play, but Colorado State safety Henry Blackburn—

who also happens to be the captain—came in with a very late hit that knocked the former five-star recruit flat.

Ayden Hector, the cornerback, was called for pass interference on Hunter,

and Blackburn was given a warning for needless roughness.Hunter ended up lying down on the sideline,
