At the 2023 ACM Honors, Chris Stapleton wins the ACM Triple Crown.
Chris Stapleton was a huge winner at the 2023 ACM Honors, which aired on Fox on Monday night (Sept. 18).
Stapleton attended the ceremony to accept the trophy for the ACM Triple Crown Award, which is not easy to earn.
According to the ACM website, the Triple Crown is only awarded to performers that have won an ACM Award in a new artist category, a male, female, duet, or group category, and Entertainer of the Year.
During the ceremony, Stapleton delivered a usually low-key address. Marty Stuart entered the stage after a great introduction to thank his wife and children,
as well as his friends and supporters, for their contributions to his career."It's a wonderful and rare thing to get to do something that you love so much for a living," he pondered. "It's incredible that I keep getting to do this."
The War and Treaty were also present for the live ACM Honors presentation, which took place on August 23 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and aired on Fox on Monday evening, anchored by Carly Pearce.
The husband-and-wife combo paid tribute to Stapleton by performing "Cold" during the awards show. Other country musicians who paid musical
tribute to the evening's honorees at the 2023 ACM Honors were Lee Brice, Trisha Yearwood, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lady A, and Brett Young.
